While strolling around Montreal, we decided to walk in to see the inside of this beautiful basilica. As there were no religious services, we were able to simply drift along, taking in the calm and serenity. It is a gorgeous building, both inside and out;...More

This was beautiful. The inside was inspiring and lovely. I couldn't walk much but just sitting in the pews and in the atmosphere makes you calm and serene.

Just a five minute walk from the Bonaventure metro stop, "Mary Queen of the World" cathedral is a scaled down homage to St. Peter's Basilica in Rome with a dome 249 ft high, a third of the size of St. Peter's. The cathedral was built...More

Wonderful architecture, beautiful setting that makes the experience reverent. Great history and place for giving thanks. Make this a must see, easy to tour and worthy.

We enjoyed our visit. Although it is much less ornate and less beautiful than Notre Dame Basilica, it is a quiet place to contemplate. Worth a brief visit. Free entry.

The Cathedral of Marie-Reine-du-Monde is a very impressive barrel vaulted St. Peter's wanabe. Open all day for moments of quiet. Sited next to a park, so you can get a nice view of the whole church.

One of the most culturally infused cathedrals I've seen in Canada, it's very worth the visit. Just trust me in saying this place will touch your soul if you are religious or not. It was amazing, go!

A nice, spacious church but I thought it lacked intensity or feeling. But it was probably just me. If compared with the majesty of its Roman counterpart it perhaps felt a bit too much like a copy.

Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the
Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and
commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship
stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate
headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by
nightfall transforms from a business district into a
