It is easy to walk straight into live entertainment or a fair here. We even got a fashion show. Most if not all events are free to the public. There are tons of restaurants along the promenade.

Visited the Place des Arts with a small group tour prior to joining a cruise ship. We found the activity easy to get around, the displays of interest and well worth looking at . We were recommended by Canadian friends and enjoyed this visit.

Closed off at Ste Catherine this summer, and it is wonderful. Playing super big games of chess in the street. Lots of fun and people around. Certainly a switch from my last trip that took place in March!!
