Every year my partner and I go to this spa located in old Montreal near the hotel area we normally stay in. It's a beautiful, well appointed spa that we have made a tradition in my birthday, our relationship and during the Montreal diverse pride fierte celebrations. The staff are very warm and inviting where they always hold your luggage... More

Terribly disappointing first visit while in Montreal for my birthday. I spoke with the reservation agent at length about the hydrotherapy and massage options. I was very clear that my boyfriend and I wanted to book the whole experience with time for a nice soak before our duo massages. She confirmed all of this while we were speaking. Then we... More

I found her communication of what she was going to do to be extremely good, and I really appreciated her advice afterwards. I would recommend her highly. -I like that besides being given the usual robe and towel, that I was given... More

The place is quite clean and quite for a perfect relaxation session. No time limit as far as I was told and they offer apples/tea/water while you're there but no bathing suits, gotta bring your own. Not sure how to get convenience help once you're in, I had to go out to the reception.

This is a gem. The most relaxing, enjoyable afternoon on our entire vacation. We accidently found about the spa on our last day, but will make a first day priority on our next visit.

Best spa in Montreal I've come to find! So relaxing, and great during the winter as it's all indoors. Massage therapists i've encountered are all amazing! I can't say enough great things about them. Great staff as well, and great pools! I just wish they were bigger so that more chairs/beds would be available to sit/lie down.

I recently booked a surprise couples massage for my wife and I for a weekend trip to MTL that included 'bath access'. By the time we were done with the hot tubs, steam room and sauna we were already feeling great! After the hour Swedish massages, we were beyond relaxed. We would definitely visit again next time we're in MTL

My boyfriend and I visited the spa on a cold day visiting Montreal and had such an amazing few hours here. We only came to use the baths and they were so lovely. We came on Friday morning which was perfect as there were only a few others there so very peaceful so I recommend a morning weekday for anyone... More

I recently spent a Sunday morning at Spa Scandinave on a recent trip to Montreal. I often like to book a spa day when I travel, so I have been to many good hotel spas and independent spas. In my opinion, Spa Scandinave in Montreal is just average. Pros: *Convenient location in Old Montreal. *Nice hot tub area -- receives... More

My sister and I spent a half a day at this amazing spa and really enjoyed ourselves. We went around 12:00 p.m. on a friday and there were not too many people there, more people started to arrive between 2-3 pm so I would go as early as possible. Each person receives a locker which has a bathrobe and 2... More

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
