Went to see the Auto Show which was in 2 buildings connected by an indoor walkway. Good for exhibitors. Parking is available underground but expensive.

I had no idea how big the MTCC is! So much walking. We visited the Auto Show here yesterday. It was in two buildings. We ended up taking the shuttle to the South building from the North for a break from all the walking. There was so much to see. Very close to Union Station if you are taking the... More

It is situated in the downtown core and always has a convention going on so lots to walk thru and see when you want to take an indoor stroll.

A great show as usual. A must see if your keeping up with new technologies and designs from your favourite automotive manufacturer. Don't miss a great chance to Network, I've met so many wonderful people and made good contacts while attending.

This is a great place to have the autoshow. Large enough to house all makes and models and keep you interested. Tip, start at the North then make your way to the south. Reason you want to do this is so you can have food from a food truck or restaurant from Front street which are better options and cheaper... More

Went to the car show here for the first time in almost 30 years. What a horrible ill conceived place this is. The main halls are split into 2 areas and they are so far apart that they actually run shuttle buses between the 2 locations… huh?!?! We decided to walk and were shuttled like cattle through roped off areas.... More

I'm here at least once a year and always for the auto show. There is a lot of walking and multiple floors here. Super easy accessibility through a walkway from Union Station.

Usually well-organized and roomy, but everything is far away and alot of walking is required. Parking on site, but expensive. Good restaurants in the area though.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
