The Distillery District is an internationally acclaimed village of brick-lined streets and dozens of vibrantly restored Victorian Industrial buildings. It’s one of Ontario’s hottest tourist attractions and home to live theatres, galleries, fashion, design and jewelry boutiques, unique cafes and award-winning restaurants. It’s all completely closed to traffic and just a few minutes walk from downtown Toronto.

This a great area to visit and ties in nicely with a trip to St Lawrence Market also. The distillery district has a lot of history combined with a variety of cool restaurants, shops and bars. It's about a 20 minute walk from Union station...More

The Distillery District is well signposted and within reasonable walking distance of downtown hotels and public transport. There are many parking lots nearby too. I visited c9.30am on a Tuesday so, of course, none of the bars were open. It was a pleasant walk past...More

Has a street fair feeling to it, with nice breweries and restaurants to boot. Food is very decent and people are friendly.

A great find. Lots of history plus a good event on at the time. Able to while away a few hours in Toronto old town and see how things have changed

So glad we dedicated a day to seeing this part of the city, love the vibe, great shops/cafes/restaurants. Lots to see and do, loved our tours of a couple of the distilleries as well! Definitely recommend!

Compact historic district with some good restaurants. The surrounding area is just a sea of surface parking and rather unpleasant on a hot summer's day.

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination

There is a paid parking next y o the Christmas market. If you parked in the paid parking area I am sure there will be disabled parking space.

Parking is a bit of a challenge anytime but during the week the south west parking lots are a good place to start . There is some street parking North and east of the east entrance but usually very scarce.
