I participated in a class on Saturday March 11. I had always wanted to make French Macarons. Lindsey is a great instructor. However, the set up was not worth the price. For $105 I expected to be able to prepare my own batch of Macarons. It is impossible to work in a group larger than two for something so complicated.... More

Slightly stressed going in - very happy coming out. Lindsey and Shea taught us the tips and tricks of pastry. This is a great jumping off point. Thank you for a great afternoon.

I attended the doughnut making class at le dolci and it was great. Lindsey was very informative and was open to answering any questions and helping us with any information on pastry making as a whole. Her outgoing personality really made the class fun and comfortable. The class was super fun and laid back!

This was my first baking class ever, and Lindsay did such an amazing job. She's an amazing instructor and really funny as well. My boyfriend had tried making macarons at home before and didn't turn out well. She explained to us the science behind it all. Well done. Me and my boyfriend will come back for more classes.

Attended the most awesome Cannoli class on Sunday (22 Jan) - 2 hours of amazing fun, wow! As usual, the instruction was outstanding with so many useful hints and tips. Everything was setup for us to jump in and get baking and the results were so very tasty. Made MUCH MORE than I anticipated so my co-workers enjoyed the results... More

My sister and I had the opportunity to attend the amazing Macaroons class at Le Dolci Foodie Studio this month (Jan 2017) thanks to the gift certificate provided by FoodiesOnFoot (Toronto) & Le Dolci Foodie Studio during their Christmas giveaways! Lindsey was our main instructor and she did a fantastic job ensuring each attendee was able to follow the steps... More

Had a wonderful time creating my first naked cake with Lindsey and Patricia. We learned how to level, crumb coat and scrape our 6"cakes, then add tons of flair with Swiss meringue buttercream (drool!) and lots of gold powdered goodies. My creation was a huge hit at the birthday party I brought it to the following day. Le Dolci is... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
