Had a wonderful experience on the Riverside/ Leslieville Walking food tour today. A great way to get to know and experience the restaurants and bakeries in the area. Ian, our guide, was amazing, very knowledge and accommodating. Great food! My husband and I will defiantly be doing another tour in the near future. Thank you!

This tour was fantastic! My fiancé and I had a great time. Our tour leader, Ian, was very knowledgable about the restaurants as well as the culture of the neighbourhoods. We loved everything we ate (ranging from a delicious Filipino breakfast, to Italian donuts and fresh croissants, to award-winning Ontario prosciutto and cheese, and Toronto's best chocolate chip cookie!) It... More

We did the King/Queen west brunch tour, but it was much more than just a tour of food places in those neighborhoods. We got a bit of history (Heartbreak Hotel) and culture (Graffiti Alley) in between all of our food stops (and there were quite a few!). Besides the great food and culture, our tour guides were fantastic. Ian lead... More

My husband and I had a fabulous time on the Little Italy Food Tour. The food was incredible and it was great to be introduced to some of the restaurants in the area. We dined on some unusual and delicious foods and drank some very good wines. The tour guide, Ian, made it so interesting with history and stories about... More

Thank you so much for your 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review. Little Italy is changing and evolving area of the city. From the early history of immigrants to the area - to the now dynamic chefs and restaurants (that are not Italian) - it remains a delicious part of Toronto. Thanks for joining us on this dinner Food Tour. Cheers. More

Went on the Kensington Market and Chinatown tour. Our guide, Kevin, was very knowledgeable and offered juicy tidbits (pun intended) about the neighborhood and history. An absolute must if you're visiting Toronto and have an appetite for delving into the city's flavors and textures.

A wonderful way to explore Toronto! The Danforth Avenue Food Tour got us out to an area of Toronto that we would not have visited otherwise. The guide and the food on the tour were great. Now that we know about the food scene on Danforth Avenue, we will definitely go back next time we are in Toronto.

With a short time visiting Toronto I consider my time spent on the Kensington Chinatown Food Tour well spent. No snack and dash, but a casual stroll with a knowledgeable guide. I left pleasantly stuffed along with a list of addional places I need to stop by before the end of my vacation. I highly recommend this tour.

Being from Toronto, it is often nice to be a tourist in your own city. I love food and it is nice when someone else does the work to put together a great food experience. Kevin was a great tour guide and it was a casual and delicious 3+ hours. Recommend!!!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
