My first experiences as a child were visiting this place. Whenever I visit Toronto I go there to luxuriate in the warmth and greenery. All the steel and concrete of the city disappear once you are inside. A relatively small facility compared to other large cities but still a refuge. If you have the time its easy to reach.

Ideal place to go with family for a small picnic. Great pictures can be taken as well as I saw lot of pre-wedding shoots in the garden as well.

I was a gardener here last year and also visit the park for walking a lot in four seasons. If you visit, make sure you go to the other side of the ravine too! Many people don't realize that side is very different. There are large 100+ year old trees, a sizeable teaching garden with vegetables and medicinal plants, and... More

Lots of flowers and plants and gardens. Great for a picnic and a walk. A place you can bring the whole family and easy parking. Be prepared for lots of walking especially for the ravine valley below.

Go for a walk in these beautiful gardens in Toronto. Such a nice spot especially when the flowers are in full bloom. The Don Valley has a beautiful trail system which you can access south on Leslie, just North of Eglinton. Afterwards, go to the Shops at Don Mills for shopping, nice lunch or dinner and A show at the... More

Edwards Gardens provides paths for walk in a beautifully landscaped flower and tree garden with a small creek at the bottom of steep embarkments. We go regularly throughout Spring, Summer and Fall to replenish ourselves.

Toronto is known as the city of trees and that's what you'll find here. Lots of it and small creeks. Great place for a picnic, family BBQ's, jogging, walking, biking. If you are lucky you might see a deer or two roaming in the forest. It takes 20 min. by car on a good day form the core of the... More
