Neighbourhood: Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.

Chill out from the crowds in the streets
Nice area to chill out a bit from the busier hustle and bustle of downtown Toronto. Take some time out, give your neck a break from looking up at the CN Tower and all the other high rise buildings. Just look out over the lake for a while……preferably with a cold drink of your choice!!

    Great lake view.
Fun water ride. Great views of Toronto coming and going. Three beaches to choose from, one being the clothing optional beach. Water was calm but cold. Take the ferry or the water taxi across but come back on the ferry as it is free. The ferry is $9 per person going but free coming back. The water taxi is $12 per person each way. Try icecreaminology on Queens Quay West.

    Nice walking area
Toronto harbour makes for a really nice walk along the lake front. You have the skyline of the city behind you and the islands in the lake to the front. A good selection of bars and outlets along the harbour.

I’d forgotten how lovely a stroll down the Toronto Harbour was until I recently went to the Rogers Centre to catch a ballgame with the new Renovations. Food trucks, restaurant options galore, pubs and bars. Also, some culture was available with a Banksy exhibit. There’s something for everyone, which explained the lively feel to the area. I cannot wait to check out the area again and soon!

Great views, great hospitality and everyone you meet is so warm and friendly.
There's so much to see and do, there is enough to spend an entire day and still there would be more to see and do

If you go there on a sunny day, you can take a tour to see the attractive city view of Toronto, including skyscrapers, Rogers Center, and CN Tower, from the lake.

Alive and crowded the Toronto harbour, many places to visit, restaurants and cafes, a lot of people walking around, very nice sightseeing tour by boat.

Great views even with the rain, the sky would clear and open up to great views of the city. The islands were. Great touch to see

Busy area with stages and always something going on. Whether you just want to sit by the water, or eat and drink in the many bars, waterfront is well worth a visit as great vibe.

It is so nice to take a walk along the shore and stop to take some pictures. Plenty of food options on the way.
