The acoustics in this place are the best to catch some live orchestral performances. Was recently here for the Harry Potter shows and it was unbelievable. Great music venue!

It feels like this place is right out of the 1970's or something ... completely dated and uncomfortable. The TSO performance was excellent, but the centre itself is a pain. Just everything was frustrating, a small lobby, washrooms down a large flight of stairs (or...More

Fabulous concert! Music was superb in addition to the movie (Harry Potter 1). Sat in the mezzanine and could see the orchestra and movie clearly. Worth every penny.

A nice place to watch a performance, even though it seemed to act more no-frills than a lot of other venues around the city. Convenient to transit and easy to access for seats. Intermission was a bit uninspiring though.

We visited Sony Centre a few times, most recently to see Eifman's "Red Giselle" ballet from St. Petersburg. While we are now definitely sure that we are not fans of this ballet style, Sony Centre remains an OK venue to see an event downtown Toronto....More

We saw a show on the Canadian Stage. Nice, intimate venue with good views from everywhere I could see. Only downside is that the rows are a little too close together. Someone my height (close to 2 meters) has to sit a little sideways, which...More

The performance was in the St Lawrence Theater across the street from the Sony Center. The booth seating was very cramped for a wheelchair. The only family assist restroom was across the street at the Sony Center. In cold, rainy. snowy or windy weather that...More

Hi Slaw, yes, you can see the stage, it's set up more like a mezzanine. That being said, I would not bring a little one and sit up there. They won't be able to grasp all of the details of the show being that far back. Good... More
