We came by boat rather late in the evening and frankly did not have enough time to explore the place. If we had come earlier we would had taken part in some activities and explored the island more. We just walked about a bit, looked...More

As I mentioned in another post, centre island is just one of many of the Toronto islands. Centre island is home to Centreville, Far enough farm, Cedar maze, Franklin Gardens, pier, and so much more

Love taking the ferry to Center Island. Lots to do with a family or friends. Reasonably priced food options. Good biking trails. The amusement park is small, but great for young children.

The kids love the amusement park which is great for younger kids (2-12) and the petting zoo. The ferry ride over is less than 10 minutes and quite nice on a warm day. I highly recommend Centre Island for anyone looking for a fun family...More

A great escape from the big bad city. Green, quiet and relaxed. Petting farm animals are fun - albino peacock, crazy llama, feisty ginger cat is friendly to kids. Lts of box hedging, a rarity in Ontario.

On a road trip to Toronto, our group decided to take the ferry over to Center Island. We had researched it and with great reviews, decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed AT ALL by the beautiful nature whether the lush flower...More

Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner

I'm not sure about that. They run ferries to it so maybe that is the reason? But I've been on ferries in rain before so not sure that it's true. Maybe they have a site to look at and see or an email to contact them and... More
