The CN tower was fun, the ride on the elevator was cool but really quick, the glass floor is scary but the kids loved walking and taking pictures on it. There isn't much to do except enjoy the beautiful view. It's a must see if you visit Toronto.

There were long lines to go up and go down (about 1 hr each). Barely any views in the outdoor deck because of the meta barrier. Literally took 10 minutes to look at everything. Waste of time.

The view is amazing! Parking was easy to find and cheap. Loved the fact that there are 2 major attractions next to it! Makes it worth the trip and can easily spend all day around that area.

I was visiting Toronto for a couple days and made plans to visit this tower. It is located right next to the aquarium. Great views from the top of the tower! There is a restaurant inside that you can eat at which is pretty cool. They also have a glass floor part which is super fun to step on! Definitely... More

Buy the city pass to do this. $36 a lot for a view. Has glass floor a 4×4 on walkway. Construction going on so didnt see 360 view. Had 2 drinks and burger/salad just to sit above cityview--not in main dining room cost $50 plus!!!

Definitely a must when visiting Toronto! We visited in the evening and it was amazing. Sadly it was the wrong weather for a sunset, but that didn't matter once we saw the city all lit up at night. There are two observation levels included in the standard ticket (plus the glass floor!), and the skypod (the highest level) is extra.... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
