About
Climb this 1,815-foot-tall observation tower to have the whole of Toronto at your feet and overlook up to 100 miles on a clear day. Once the tallest structure on Earth for over 30 years, the CN Tower attracts travelers to its two observation decks—one of which features a glass floor. If you’re looking for an extra thrill, try Edgewalk, where you can walk hands-free on a ledge surrounding the top floors. The tower is also home to the award-winning 360 Restaurant, which completes a rotation around the structure every 72 minutes, giving you an ever-changing view of the city while you dine. – Tripadvisor

The best place I've ever been to.
I've traveled here in the summertime of July of this year with some of my Best Friends. We really liked to how cool it looked at night. Nothing to dislike about this place. We also really liked to how tall it looked.

    Fantastic views
Really enjoyed this attraction. On arrival staff advised that part of the viewing floor was taken over by a private event and would not be able to walk around the whole area. As a sweetener they gave us tickets to be able to go up to another higher level. Fantastic views and stayed to have a wine and look out over Toronto. Went at a quieter time around 5pm ish.

    Amazing
It was great experience visiting CN Tower. My kids liked it so much and the view of the Toronto city was amazing in the night. Got opportunity to visit skypod, which was tallest point and we all liked it so much. Thrilled to see the bottom from the glass floor. Loved it.

    Great views
The CN tower provides unparalleled views of the city of Toronto. While the views during the day are fantastic, do youself a favor and head there around dusk. Watching the city illuminate after dark is truly breathtaking.

A must visit in Toronto, but a bit expensive.
A must see and visit when in Toronto. We were fortunate to have a very clear day with great views. We paid the additional fee to go to the highest viewing point which was fine but it didn't really add a lot. It was a bit expensive. Last time I visited was in December 1977!

Glorious views for a steep price
This is a must-see if you're visiting Toronto for the first time, as it's part of the Toronto skyline and was the world's tallest building for 30+ years. You're affordable a gorgeous panorama view of the entire city, so take the time to enjoy the scenery. We were lucky enough to have a clear day, which made this excursion extra special. We also appreciated that they didn't hustle us out in a specific amount of time, so we could spend as much time here as we wanted. There's plenty of seating if you want to take a break. The one drawback I'll add is that ticket prices are pretty steep ($43/adults and $30/kids), so make the most of your visit.

    Go to skypod
Yes it's expensive but you get great views of the city. We went when it opened and there was no queue/line, just a short stop for secutity checks. We could spend as long as we wished at both the main observation deck and the skypod which has an additional charge. I think it is worth doing both as it is a different experience higher up and there is additional information available there such as the pendulum that shows if the tower is swaying. We were lucky to have a reasonably clear day for views. There is the usual gift shop, etc on the ground floor. Yes, it is just a high view of a city but see it as an experience and part of a visit to Toronto also.

    Amazing View
The CN Tower in Toronto is an iconic landmark and a popular tourist attraction. It is one of the tallest freestanding structures in the world and has become a symbol of the city. The tower offers stunning panoramic views of Toronto and the surrounding area from its observation decks, which are located at different heights. With that said, it was an amazing experience. We bought tickets at the venue and waited in line for about 30 to 45 minutes. The views were amazing, and food and drinks are available when you get to the observation tower. They do a great job of getting people in and out of the elevators. They take pictures, but I didn't like the way my picture turned out, so I didn't buy it. I remember the price being pretty expensive.

    Touristy but worth a visit
We visited in February so it was a lot lot quieter than other times of the year. We didn't have to queue or wait at all. We got straight up and down the tower when we needed to. It is touristy and I can imagine chaotic in busier times but it was nice and quiet at the top and it was a clear day so we had great views. It is also definitely one of the pricier tourist attractions but I still say worth a visit when in Toronto!

My wife and I live in New Jersey and thought we would drive up to Toronto and spend a wonderful time ringing in 2020. We did some research in November and based on the amazing reviews from last year we paid $400 for two tickets to the CN Tower party. What an utterly disappointing evening it was. The event was over-hyped, over-priced and completely under-delivered on nearly every aspect. This should be the last year they ever do it and refund half the money back to everyone who paid this year!
The good: Fun music and a couple of good places to dance and the food wasn't awful.
The bad: First, there was no one to assist you when you arrived at the party floor. Downstairs, from the moment you got to the tower you were given directions of where to go and what to do. But when you got upstairs, if you had a question like "How can I get to the observation deck?" no one was there to help. Since there were no signs indicating where to go we were left to wander around the building and open and close doors till we found out how to get out to see the city. Second, the bar service was a complete disaster. You had to wait 40 minutes or longer on line for a drink since they were completely understaffed at the bar stations. Each station had two bartenders who took your order, made the drink(s), took your cash or credit card and got you on your way. If you break that down into real time it came to about 5 minutes for one person ordering two drinks based on what we saw while waiting. And that was paying with cash. We saw someone pay with a credit card and it took 8 minutes to complete the transaction, beginning to end. We also nearly missed the champagne toast since they couldn't get drinks out quick enough. Third, promises of poutine at midnight and dessert stations completely missed the mark. There was poutine somewhere, but even when we asked some of the servers who were just standing around they offered no help in finding it. Maybe I'm being petty, but we were really looking forward to this Canadian treat to usher in the new year. As for other dessert, they had one cotton candy machine that wasn't working properly, jars of loose candy that people were sticking their hands in and grabbing out of as they saw fit, and maybe two or three passed trays of sweets.
By the end of the night the staff seemed to just have given up on making this an enjoyable night and I can't blame them. The people who organized the party floor aspect of the event should all be held accountable for doing such poor planning. The sad part is that this could have been a great time if the organizers didn't cut corners in staffing and paid more attention to the details trying to make this event shine. The solutions are so simple but my guess is that they did it on the cheap to keep costs down.
In the end the CN Tower 2020 was a big let down for New Years and Toronto.

Fantastic experience - a must do whilst visiting Toronto. We took the basic entry ticket that gave access to the main enclosed visitor area, the section of glass floor and access to the external area. It wasn't at all busy so we had plenty of opportunity to gaze through the full length windows at the amazing views of the city.

Visited with my wife and daughter, we had booked tickets to the aquarium as part of the Tower and Sea package. we arrived around 11am and just missed the queues, the queues we witnessed on departure were significant. None of us have a love of heights and it is fair to say my wife was petrified. The Elevator takes 58 seconds to reach the observation deck. We were blessed with blue skies and low winds and was treated to magnificent views of the city and Toronto islands. We took stairwell doen to the ouside deck to walk around the tower and then made our way to the glass floor. We all managed to walk across and survived. All of us loved it. For me it was the highlight of our trip

My family and I visited the CN Tower, Toronto during the Christmas Holidays. Due to the holiday season the line up was quite long and it took us more than half an hour to get to the viewing floor. The view was amazing and we were able to get a bird's eye view of Toronto city and the Lake Ontario.

The elevator is going at a very surprising speed, takes you to the top in few seconds without having the time to realize it.. The 360 degrees view over toronto is a must see. Absolutely stunning. I did amazing pics. The only bemol is the price. When you come with a family ot can turn out to be quite expensive.

An expensive exercise for a family of teenagers and asking for an extra $15 for the pod was far too much.
Probably why we were the only ones up there....
The views are really good on a clear day.
Take plenty of $$.
If we came back would definitely bypass.
The staff were polite and efficient.
The counter staff should tell visitors about the City Pass which would make the visit more cost effective.

I would definitely recommend visiting as early as possible in the morning. I was waiting for the gate to open at 9am and was in the SkyPod by myself for at least 10 minutes. Although I'm not sure the extra entrance fee is worth it as the view seems to differ little from the lookout and the windows aren't as clean for photography. However the man operating the elevator was lovely.

My only gripe of the tour was having to have the tourist photograph taken despite saying I definitely wouldn't be buying it. I was appalled that the photographs had been printed when I got to the bottom. This seems to be a disgraceful waste of energy and material when there must be millions destroyed every year.

The views from the top are spectacular - all round glass windows enable a true 360 degree view. Did not have lunch or dinner, not sure if it is worth it. Entry to the tower itself is pretty expensive but is worth the money while visiting Toronto. Please do park in the nearby parking garage - difficulty to find anything else that is cheaper in the vicinity.

We decided to go up the CN Tower as my mum and dad had done this some 10-15 yrs before us.
I was surprised by how crowded the tower was by all the other buildings right next to it.

We negotiated the ticket machines without too much of a problem . It did however only give us one ticket but charged us for two. We went directly to customer services, explained the problem and they immediately gave us another admission ticket. The were very busy but dealing with people swiftly, politely and efficiently, Impressive.

So off we went to queue. They could learn a thing or two from Disney Florida who know how to entertain the people whilst they queue. Nevertheless we moved without too much time to get too bored and were soon on the elevator up. This was smooth and speedy.
We then found our way to the deck where the floor is glass and marveled at all the people lying on the glass posing for photos, aren't us humans weird!?
There is a cafe up here and a 360 degree view. if you then go to the next deck, you find yourself outside, again there is 360 degree access to the views. There is however a wire mesh (keeping you safe from falling) like a wire cage, so photos were not so good.

It was not until we were in the elevator down that I noticed that this too had a portion of glass floor.

The experience was a good one and I am glad we did it, but it didn't wow me.
Great views of the city etc

Tip 1: Make sure you go on a clear day! If its cloudy or grey I wouldn't bother as that's all you'll see when you get to the top.

Tip 2: Make sure you start filming as soon as you get in the elevator - during the trip up you actually get to see outside but it goes fast so you don't want to miss it because you're fiddling with you're camera!

I've been twice and found the 'glass floor' underwhelming both times - the glass is so thick and you're so high up that it doesn't feeling that thrilling (but that's just me).

The food in the cafe is crazy expensive, so eat before hand. Especially the little ones - they'll be drawn to the smell of hot dogs and french fries!
