It is clear from many of the poor reviews for my beloved Pagoda that many people have gone to the Friendship Gardens and seen the Windmill pictured in initial review. That is not the Pagoda I spoke of people, and I promised I would add a picture of the actual Pagoda, which is ten miles from the Friendship Gardens, on... More

Hard to find and nothing there. The pictures shown for this site are now at the International Friendship Garden in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

The Tourist office was very helpful in directing a lengthy walk that we planned in the city of Thunder Bay. The attendant steered us in the right directions, and helped with a free parking spot. located down by the harbor/waterfront area.

It looks nice from a distance, but there was no one there! An not even anything to look at. I'm not really sure why it exists...

First, just for the record, the picture on this page is not of the Pagoda, it is a picture of the windmill at the Friendship gardens. Anyway, next time I'm back home in Thunder Bay I'll take a picture of the Pagoda and post it here for you to see what is an historical architectural delight. They just do not... More

This is literally just a gazebo standing in the park on lake side. Not much to see there at all. The park itself is probably more memorable, particularly with all the train traffic next to it.

I don't think this is the right one...but couldn't find The Friendship gardens...these are beautiful and have many countries represented with different sculptures for them...It is a nice walk around with many flower gardens...these weren't quite in bloom as of yet because of the "no spring" this year and late winter frosts and cold...but you could see in a month... The advisor in the Pagoda was very knowledgeable and helped us find our way along the beautiful waterfront trail right across the road - you have to travel across an elevated walkway to get to it. Beautiful views of the Sleeping Giant and harbour. We also... More
