We only spent half a day in this gorgeous park, but I think you'd need a solid week to check out everything it has to offer. The hike was the perfect length (we chose a half-day one and brought plenty of water), and the harbor...More

Drove up from Toronto, the 17 hours of driving were worth it! Amazing campsite right on Marie Louise Lake with the views of the Sleeping Giant. Trails were wonderful, the views exceptional. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend climbing the Giant,...More

The woods are green and beautiful. We went with kids and walked through beautiful trails. The place is full with lagoons and trees that invites to explore. The parking was free but I know that that doesn’t happen often since our friends told us they...More

The picture and title on this site are a bit misleading. It says "Hike to the top if you have the time" and shows a picture of a lookout. This particular lookout can be reached by car and is AMAZING. Trouble is that there are...More

The park is gorgeous, the only reason I didn't rate it "excellent" is we could not find the visitor centre. The map in the park brocuhre didn't note the visitor centre location (and we never saw a sign). However, we enjoyed our visit and even...More

The park was nice but the signage is not good. We wondered up and down Unpaved roads trying to find an overlook. We never found it.

You will think you are never going to get there, but when you do you are rewarded with a cantilevered platform 100 meters over Lake Superior, with an amazing view. Watch for the sign to the overlook.

We took our two daughters (14 and 10 years old) from South Kabeyun Trailhead to the Top of the Giant viewing point and I would highly recommend it. The hike takes between 6 to 8 hours on average from start to finish. Most of the hike...More

No. There are a few campsites and the Visitor Centre, but these trails are not designed for wheelchair use. If you happen to be in the Thunder Bay area, Cascades Conservation Area has a paved trail specifically made for... More

If you're looking for some basics, there is a spot at the highway. Say 35 km. If you need a good thorough shop, you're talking about 70 km.
