Layout: 9 holes. 3300 yards from tips. Challenging layout with some elevation changes. Holes 3,4,and 5 are really one of the best combination of holes in the city. Driving Range: A driver can be used, but the balls provided are in really poor shape and often stingy in quantity. $7 for a small bucket and $12 for a large bucket.... More

This was a typical small but quaint golf course in the country. Although some fairways resembled farm land, I quite enjoyed playing there. There were some interesting holes and the course was great to walk. The course may need a few more years to mature but I wasn't expecting as much as l got. I would definitely go back again... More

The course ammenities are not fancy, but the golfing is good with enough variety to be interesting. On our visit it was very quiet so we had no delays.

Challenging course with quick greens. However, the fairways can be a bit iffy since there is no drainage. Number 9 is a very short par 4, which could be redone. Still, it's cheap to play and the layout of of holes 3,4 and 5 is one of the better ones in the city.

I have a membership at Dragon Hills and had one for a past number of years. Best golf course in Thunder Bay and the owner and staff are extremely helpful and are organized.

A pleasant afternoon of affordable golf on a well kept course, "Challenge" is not the operative word, it is more comfortable than anything else.

Dragon Hills is a beautiful golf course, and very challenging. Its located in the wonderful Northwestern Ontario wilderness, on the outskirts of Thunder Bay. The course resembles the back of a dragon, and you are able to see the Sleeping Giant (Natural Wonder of Thunder Bay) from areas in the course. It's a one of a kind experience. I would... More
