5 cent rides is what the deceased owner of the said Carousel agreed to when he sold it to the City of St. Catharines. Or so the fable is told. Good way to kill some time while visiting Port Dalhousie.

Best kept secret that needs to be shared! The carousel is appealing to all ages, children love it and adults to! When I was there it was being utilized in wedding pictures, what a great prop! Its 5c per ride, the music is that of...More

This experience is idyllic! If you are not already a child, it will take you back to your childhood and special times. As a bonus you get a view of Lake Ontario!

This is a beautiful old style wooden carousel with an old time music organ. I have been here a few times when we have to to the beach which is only about 150' away and is lovely with nice sand and a very slow drop...More

Come and be part of the past. Still only a nickel to ride, same original music. The surrounding walls are full of history. See a hint of what life was like in the good old days. Plus it's hard to beat the view.

I was trying to find things to do with my 3 year old nephew whom I was babysitting for 2 nights. First time he was there, he loved it. We went on the ride about 8 times

Beautiful. Not the high octane thrill of a roller coaster or a drop zone but a reminder of kinder, gentler times, of childhood innocence, excitement and laughter. We stood and watched adults and kids enjoying themselves. It lifts the spirit.

Whether you are 10, or 45. You will love the carosel. Everyone is always excited around it. And always the same great price. It is a shame they were not able to open up this year due to the rising water.

Unfortunately the carousel was closed for Maintenance. Was there last year and it was great. The playground is great as well.
