A beautifully maintained carousel on the beach. A true hidden gem for children of all ages. We have taken many people on our "Grand Niagara Tour" - and they are a lot of "grand" things to see and do but they rate a ride on this carousel at the top! So much fun for five cents.

great visit for youngsters, and still only 5 cents! located at Lakeside Park in St. Catharines (Port Dalhousie) right at the beach of Lake Ontario. if you are going the area from May to October it is a great side trip 5 minutes off the QEW or stay the whole day in Port Dalhousie.

It is lovely especially for children. It reminds one of merry go rounds from years gone by. The carousel consists of antique animals and benches. They are kept in perfect condition by a group of volunteers. The cost is five cents. It's located on Port Dalhouse beach

Remember when you could buy two pieces of Double Bubble and a shoelace of red licorice for a nickle (no tax). Or a package of fake sugar cigarettes for a nickle-just imagine you could look cool pretending to smoke all the while working on getting diabetes. Well believe it or not this ride by the lake is still only 5... More

For 5 cents, you get to ride an authentic piece of history. The kids love it and if they need a break, there's a playground right beside it. Then back on the carousel. Fun for the whole family of you appreciate just how remarkable this icon is.

We visited the carousel in October and managed to get there on the last day it was open for the season. There is a very interesting history to the carousel. It is the one ride left in what was once an amusement park. Large groups used to come to the park and beach particularly on weekends. It was also the... More
