For a nickel are you kidding this place is great! This is must stop on any visit to Port Dalhousie. Old school merry go round lots of places to eat and a great view.

Yep, still a nickel. Best family value anywhere. Cool breeze, beach, and park. Fishing and good local dining. The carousel is a beautiful centrepiece.....brings back memories to a slower paced time.

Great park to visit. Set on lake ontario. Carousel fun for young and old. Rides only 5 cents per person. A must see in Niagara.

This historic site has not to be missed in the quaint town of Port Dalhousie situated on the banks of Lake Ontario. Children and adults alike flock to experience this carousel ride. Its 5 cents per ride. Do not miss it!

l was down there today and it was not going and the parking lot was under eight inches of water.They are still building the picnic area and everything is blocked off.

Are they all the original animals on the carousel or have they been changed at all?

Yes they are the original animals.The lion was stolen and was found down in the states but got returned and is back on the carousel.
