We visited the zoo on July 11, the parking lot was completely full. We drove down the hill and there was additional parking. We had packed a picnic, there was lots of picnic tables and some unrented pavilions there as well.

Great Zoo for all ages. This zoo is free admission and well maintained. It also has a plyground, picnic area and a splash pad to cool off. A definite must see.

Lift lock cruise leaves from del crary and lock 19. Good cruise if you haven't been through the Trent or lift lock
