On March 8 2022 in the afternoon, the store associate Linda at the Ottawa Tanger outlet cosmetics store made inappropriate remarks about my race and that I carried Covid (I’m vaccinated). I understand how trying these times are but this is very disrespectful behaviour. I am not the only customer experiencing discrimination and receiving rude remarks from this individual. It makes the experience of shopping stressful.

At last an outlet with real discounts. For long I was looking for a place like this.
Indeed, many items are being sold at a regular prices, but many as well are with real discounts.
I was there on fathers day- an extra doscount.

Their parking enforcement issued a ticket for parking in a handicapped space. Put it under the wiper right beside my valid handicapped permit. Security claimed to know nothing about anything. Either liars or incompetent. Trying to get ahold of management.

Love the outdoor shopping centre vibe. Lots of great stores there, plenty to choose from. Food court could have a few more choices.

The first time I visited this place when it opened, the prices seemed standard, with nothing you would expect from an outlet experience price-wise. It has a good selection of high end retailers but a very limited food court. Located far in the west end of Ottawa near the Canadian Tire Centre (or whatever they will change the name to in the future), it is not the easiest place to get to if you don't have a car! The parking is free however, and it boasts one of the only Beavertails locations not near downtown Ottawa.

My personal gripe is with the mall itself - it has outdoor layout. I can understand the intentions of the design, however, Ottawa is one of the coldest capitals in the world. To me it detracts from a pleasant shopping experience for 3-4 months of the year if you're needing to bundle up constantly to go between stores without freezing.

Most of these stores you can find elsewhere in Ottawa at any of the malls. I certainly didn't find ANY real outlet deals at any of the stores. Definitely not like the outlet shops you experience down south. I should also mention that I checked out about 10-12 different stores during my last visit - and was only greeted in ONE of them! In each of the other stores I was completely ignored; not even a hello. I was there on a weekday afternoon - so there was no excuse for this lack of customer service (not a busy Saturday where I may have been overlooked). Inexcusable terrible lack of simple customer service. Don't go to Tanger expecting your typical "outlet" deals, or expecting a great customer service experience.

First, I must say that Canadian Outlet malls do not compare with the larger ones in the US, but this one is very nice. Beautiful setting, but not a lot of stores. However, if I compare it to the new Premium Outlet Mall in Montreal, this one is larger and offer a larger variety of stores. Be sure to stop by the customer relations desk to receive your coupon book. Happy shopping!

To be honest I didn't like the outlet. High prices and poor quality. Sales were rarely more than 30% off, so not great deal and my feeling was that clothes were not the standar brand quality. I confirm the few places where to eat.
Free Wifi available.
From ottawa downtown you can catch the bus number 92 and be there in 1h, a bit more to come back.

New, clean and stylish, this outlet mall has lots to offer shoppers who don't mind the outdoor feel of this style of mall. In winter, I'm not sure it will be as pleasant a place to shop compared to local indoor malls, but in nice weather, this is a great shopping destination.
I liked the selection of stores here and thought there was a good variety of stores to suit diverse needs and tastes. One oversight is that there is no major Restuarant on site, only a very small food court (4 options) and one other coffee shop. I would have liked to see another place to get a nice meal which might tempt more people to linger longer in the mall area. There appears to be ample parking ( all outdoor and free) and washroom facilities are strategically placed in three main locations. There is bench seating available along the walking areas and some tables and chairs also. A small children's play area can be found at the south east corner of the mall near entrance 7.
Upon arrival, you may wish to visit the Shopper Services office to pick up a map, coupon book or get helpful information. CAA members, and military personnel get free coupon books. Others get coupon books with a membership that costs $10 for lifetime.
Wheelchairs and baby strollers are available for use.

Well known brands for cheap. Very good deals particularly if you have the membership. You receive individualized deals with coupons and gift cards after your points accumulate. However, not ideal in winter when the wind blows due to its design. Not modified to suit the Canadian weather!
