Came to Landsdowne Park with friends to watch our Toronto Argonauts play against the Ottawa Red Blacks. This place is a family friendly stadium and has many eating and shopping places all around the park.

With a couple of friends, we took in a football game of the Ottawa Redblacks who hosted the BC Lions in an exciting CFL football game on a clear Saturday evening.

Went to Whole Foods and parked in the underground parking lot, which was absolutely packed and once in you couldn't get out. There was an equipment failure and instead of opening the gates to relieve pressure, patrons were trapped underground and made to breath in toxic gas fumes for, in our case the better part of an hour and to add insult to injury forced to pay for the time being trapped in there. There is no vehicle limit, staffing or equipment failure policy in place here so BEWARE! Not sure about a ventilation system either.

During our first visit to Ottawa, we walked over to Lansdowne on a beautiful sunny day. A lot of people watching.
There are multiple restaurants and cafes in the area.
We also ventured into the main hall and saw the Tulip sales, plus all the other international booths selling clothes, food, etc

Well worth a visit. Good underground parking. Plenty of eating areas. Has a cinema. Good for parking and then walking along the canal. Bank St nearby with plenty of shops. The Lansdowne shops has an excellent Grocery store.

I love Lansdowne Park and all the upgrades and changes and I go there regularly.

Today was a Civic Holiday and all government offices and some other businesses closed so instead of parking on a side street I thought parking would be free at the meters in Lansdowne Park.

Well it is NOT free anytime. They charge for parking on the street in the park area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. As I pulled away from the meter to park elsewhere there were 2 Green Hornets (Ottawa's male meter maids) each armed with a fresh ticket book heading to check on cars and make their quota.

For the life of me I don't understand why they are charging for parking on a holiday in a tourist area when it is free on every other street in the city on holidays and weekends.

It would be great for the city to make a change to this policy which seems to be exclusive to Lansdowne Park and have a standard rule for parking across the city for weekends and holidays.

Hi Malcolm, We're so happy to hear you love Lansdowne! We apologize for the inconvenience regarding the parking situation! The parking meter in front of Lansdowne Park belongs to the city of Ottawa and as such, it would be inappropriate for TD Place to make a comment on their behalf. For more information on City of Ottawa parking rates, information and contact information please refer to the city of Ottawa website https://ottawa.ca/en/residents/transportation-and-parking/parking. Thank you!

Adjacent to both the stadium and Sunday Market area, there's a wonderful skate board park, which kept our grandchildren busy for hours along with a water fountain experience to help cool them down. The kids really love this attraction, which allows us to sit, watch and cheer them on. I think ages 5-8 might be optimum.

Lansdowne is a modern complex filled with a variety of different amenities. The stadium of course host many events but are most known for their Redblacks football games, Ottawa Fury fc soccer games and Ottawa 67’s hockey games which attract a variety of fans and create a fun atmosphere with their pre game pep rally and post game celebrations. In addition to ten stadium, Lansdowne is home to many stores and restaurants. Lansdowne also has a great green space in the back, looking over the canal. There is a skate park, a skating rink in the winter, a fenced dog park etc. Lansdowne also has many events outside of the stadium including a weekly farmers market on sundays in the summer and a few more events in their 2 buildings available for public bookings. Overall a great area.

Hey, thanks so much for taking the time to write a wonderful review! You nailed it on the head from the sports games, the farmer's market and public spaces for rent. The Aberdeen Pavilion and Horticulture building are fantastic venues for medium to large scale events that are available for rent. Happy to have you back!

We went for the Red Blacks' home opener and had a blast! The game was great, and the fans so much fun but the best part was being able to go down on the field after the game.

Hey! Thank you for taking the time to leave us your thoughts. We're very happy to hear you enjoyed your time at TD Place. Meeting the players on the field after the game is such a special experience - good idea to stick around for it!
