Can be done w a parliament tour or on it's own. If you do parliament late in the day, do this on it's own, earlier. Beautiful view of the city.

When we finished the tour of parliament, my wife and I went up the elevator to the top of the Peace Tower. It has a wonderful view over the city and across the river into Quebec and the Gatineau Hills. I'm sure the fall colours...More

If you have a family member that fought and died during WW1, they will help you to find more information and send a copy of that information to you through the mail.

If you're on a tour of the Parliament Buildings, make sure you take the option to go up the tower and visit the memorial hall. These will probably be the most memorable things you do in Ottawa.

Access to the Tower comes at the end of the tour. An elevator takes you up - maximum seven people. Can see the clock and great views all around.

Es muy interesante ver el aspecto multicultural que hay en Canadá. Vimos un representante del parlamento de origen indio y el enorme respeto de los parlamentarios al tratar temas en que discrepaban. Admirable.
