A great place to defrost the winter chills or cool off any summer evening. We draw patrons of all ages, from twenty-something's to seasoned regulars, minus the boisterous happy-hour set. Authentic Irish pub for a pint and an awesome burger. Earl of Sussex also serves pub classics like fish and chips, pizza, wings and Shepherd's pie.Save room for dessert too!

Wonderful, Friendly Pub

Stopped in to have a tall cold one and enjoyed every minute!!! The waitress Rochelle was very friendly and a joy to talk with. I will tell all my friends to stop in and meet her and enjoy the beer.

Great Place!

Surprised by the relatively few TA reviews of the Earl of Sussex. It's a great spot for a beer especially when the patio is open and the sun is shining! I guess it's one of those places that the locals want to keep for themselves....More

Nice food and excellent service

Was recommended to this place for fish-n-chips. Liked the food, ambience and the service. Ally was excellent in ensuring all customers were taken care of. Would definitely recommend.

Nice Lunch for Good price and good atmosphere

Good place for a beer.. Food meh..

Stopped by brunch this morning. Massively, underwhelming food. Nice service - great patio - food was cold. Plates messy. Hollandaise goopy. I can see why the place was near empty. Touristo.

Great food and location

This quaint pub/restaurant is within walking distance of the Parliament buildings in Ottawa. Its a family friendly pub...great atmosphere with great food!

Amazing Patio

I love the patio and I always find the food good. It is a great place to watch sports on the big screen on the patio. I've been frequenting this place for almost 20 years.

Amazing Food

I get the Pulled Pork sandwich every time... amazing. Service is great, and the patio is amazing -- perfect spot for summer drinks.
