This is a small park with not really a whole lot going on, but it is only a short detour from the highway and shows a nice portion of the Rideau River. There are a few walking paths, but there are not particularly noteworthy.

This provincial park is great for young families and people who are new to camping in provincial parks. The staff were very friendly and professional, however the beaches were very shallow and I would not recommend this park to people looking to swim all day.

We had a wonderul time with friends at a group camp site in this park. It feels remote but is within easy reach of Ottawa.

After I have read the reviews about the noise from the street, we made a reservation for a place near the river. We weren't disturbed by the heavy trucks as other and we enjoyed our stay there. The campground is pretty big. We chose a...More

We have gone to this park a couple of times now for day picnics. Nice, quiet beachfront with picnic tables, bbq's, washrooms, canoe and kayak rental, boat launch, playground. Dogs are permitted if leashed in the picnic area but are not allowed on the beach....More

The staff was very friendly and the site was clean enough as was the facilities (washroom, showers, etc..) but the highway noise was excessive. I heard trucks and cars all day and night, not as peaceful as I had hoped. Rented a canoe for a...More

My two young sons and I brought our trailer here this week. The pamper stations are maintained regularly. The beach is also regularly maintained. The roped in area does not get very deep. Deep enough for a short swim. The playground near the beach is...More
