So many trees. This is a great way to preserve strains and species. If you like trees this is the place to go.

what a jewel in the centre of Ottawa. Go and plan enough time to wander through the barns as well as the gardens - don't miss the pond in the rose garden! or the hidden path and tiny bridges. They are magical when you are...More

Walking through this place is a tree lovers dream. Trees from all over the world. If yo're like me it gives you ideas about what to buy for your yard. Plus its a great place to walk the dogs.

Take the bike path, cross the locks, find a shady spot near Dow's Lake, and enjoy a picnic. Play hide and go seek with the kids. Rent a paddle boat at the Pavillion. Show the family the farm animals. Enjoy this idyllic location.

One of our favorite places to take photos and enjoy the outdoors any season of the year. Large gardens, with many varieties of flowers and plants for every season.

You can spend hours walking along river and small forest. Rent kayak, climb trees, picnic under the trees. Peaceful and under-rated!

There's no camping at the Arboretum. I don't know where someone got that idea.
