A must visit! The beautiful Falls are well worth a visit. Ignore the concrete damn and concentrate on the rock formations and several Falls. So pretty. Parking very close by. Toilet facilities near car park.

This place is beautiful. The parks surrounding the area are amazing. The area exhibits what every urban park system should strive to be.

Happened to stop by this place and very happy we did. Great place for pictures of the falls and relaxing on the banks of the river. Good habitat for bird watching as well.

Beautiful falls and park! Took a picnic lunch then climbed on the rocks. Great enjoyable day for the whole family. Not much parking though if it is busy.

It`s a nice place to relax and hangout on the rocks in the sun. The falls are powerful and lots of fine mist on a hot day. Theer are trails all along the river.

I like this place as it shows the issue that the builders of the Rideau Canal had to deal with. The geology on the west side is very interesting as well.

One of the many places in Ottawa dominated by water and greenery. Great playground nearby for kids - Mooney's Bay.

First, we were surprised when we found that Hog's Back Falls were right in Ottawa. Second, we loved the fact that it was free! We enjoyed wandering around the trails on the sides of the falls and took some nice photos. Recommended.

No this is a free park. It is mainly used for playing with kids or your dog. There are public washrooms and usually food vendors. At certain days of the week you will find a fitness group called "Warriors of fitness" doing... More
