This museum is downtown, easily accessible. The exhibits presently are very interesting, and the layout makes it easy to stroll from room to room. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed reading about and seeing the artifacts of the first peoples of Canada. The artifacts are very different than those I have seen before. The food their in the cafeteria is also very good and a step up from usual cafeteria food.

We were quite lucky having a chance to visit National Gallery when they were free of charge. We explored twice, and luckily they have changed their collection a bit every year in some exhibition corner. It was always an awestruck moment to see their collection.

Love art museums and this one has a really nice and wide art collection, and the building has an amazing architecture. Enjoyed it very much! I was disappointed because we couldn't see the Canadian Art gallery as it was closed but it was still worth...More

It will take you at least half a day to visit this museum, situated in a beautifull build buidling. All kind of art is available, old and new periods.

We thought we were going to see some master pieces in the NGC. Very disappointed. Not a big collection at all. Should not waste money to go in.

As long as I don't really get the contemporary art pieces and their hidden meanings, the European section is still a good walk across centuries of fine art. The Canadian section was closed. looking forward to see it next time.

I would not recommend if you had the pay the normal entrance fee of $15. The contemporary art exhibit was not really interesting and amateurish in my opinion. The building architecture is good and the spider sculpture outside were the best feature of the visit.

We enjoy coming here so much that we get family memberships every year. The gallery has a wonderful core collection and brings in some of the best artwork in the world. The architecture is gorgeous and the location couldn't be better, a short stroll from...More

What is the next major exhibition you will be featuring? My husband and I came from Detroit area to see Carravagio. It was fantastic!! Waiting for another one like this, or this one again.

Hi Cheri, So happy to hear that you enjoyed the Caravaggio exhibition. It was so incredible to have so many Caravaggios in one space and to see the influence he had on his followers. Our next big summer show is Alex... More
