The Show itself was above expectations, amazing. however the building and street were under construction making parking an issue and the womens bathroom at our end of the seating was shut down due to the renovations so by the time some went to the bathroom the play was starting again and they still hadnt used the toilet, they were frustrated,... We came to Ottawa to watch a comedy show. The entrance to the Centre is under construction and has serious issues regarding bottleneck stairs, etc which in an emergency could cause serious safety issues. It was very disorganized trying to get to your seat, felt like we were penned animals, terrible. Once we got to our seat it was great.... More

The Centre is undergoing major renovations and so the approach was difficult. The Centre has several theaters and is rather confusing, perhaps as a result of the construction. We saw a performance of the Grand Ballet of Montreal here that was excellent.

We went last night to see Book of Mormon. The renovations are coming along very well. The NAC has put staff in place to escort clients into the building to show you where you need to go during renovations. However on the way out, it took about 10 mins just to exit because there were reduced exits and everyone was... More

The N.A.C. is a wonderful venue for musical events, made even better by the recent remodeling to make the seating more comfortable. Don't be put off by having to travel through what appears to be a construction site to get to your seat----- Southam Hall, the main venue---- is acoustically exquisite. With the new seating arrangements you can add the... More

A performance at the NAC will be unforgettable. The main hall, Southam Hall, is beautiful, comfortable, and acoustically fantastic.

If you are visiting Ottawa you will find yourself near the NAC as you visit the city's other central attractions. On nice days you can dine next to the Rideau Canal. You will not be disappointed with any of the orchestra, theatre, or dance events with some of the best performers anywhere. If you are attending the Jazz Festival, the... More

I recently attended the National Ballet of Canada's production of Onegin at Southam Hall. What was different was that the NAC is undergoing an extensive renovation to bring this 50 year old venue into the 21st century. The first noticeable difference inside was the addition of new seats. They are better than the previous ones so it was a welcome... More

On January 1st my family and I went to see the production of Kinky Boots at Southam Hall. While the show was entertaining and worth the money, it was the hall itself that stood out. There is no longer the annoyance of having to continually get up to allow people to get to their seats in the centre because of... More

A great show about a fictitious lady, who steals the show. Joey Smallwood is not what this is about, really. What a surprise. What a show. Very long and very good!
