This is a real gem in Oshawa. Loved hearing history of the McLaughlin family and touring main floor and servants quarters. The gardens are definitely worth spending some time in. Great place to grab a book and bench on a nice afternoon.

I attended a girlfriend's wedding at Parkwood in October 2000. The grounds are absolutely stunning and a must see. Have also had my photos of my first wedding done at Parkwood back in 1982 and more recently at my step-daughter's wedding in September 2011.

Don't think pets are allowed. This is a historial home and surrounding gardens and reflection pool. Leave your pooch at home where it is more comfortable during the summer. Enjoy the visit
