Owned by the City of Oshawa, and managed by Spectra Venue Management, the Tribute Communities Centre opened in 2006 with a project cost of $45 million. As Durham Region’s premier Sports and Entertainment Facility, the Tribute Communities Centre provides a first-class home to the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League and the Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame. The venue also boasts an in-house restaurant, Prospects Bar & Grill, which is open typically 2 hours prior to live and sporting events as well as throughout the week for the Durham Central Adult Hockey League (DCAHL). Since opening, the Tribute Communities Centre has hosted major concerts and special events including Elton John, Cirque du Soleil, 2011 BDO Canadian Open, IIHF World Junior Pre-Competition, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Hedley, Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships, Selena Gomez and The Wiggles; just to name a few!

Went to see Dallas Smith in concert and there is not a bad seat in the arena at all. Easy to navigate. Concession prices are not too bad compared to the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Will definitely attend more concerts here.

Went to an Oshawa Generals game for the the first time. Took the entire family. Was very reasonably priced and lots of great action during the playoffs. Can't beat the value for the quality of hockey and the overall experience. A definite do over!!

Went to the Bob Dylan concert here and had a great experience. Seats were good, sound was good and access to venue was good. Staff were friendly, overall a memorable evening and would definitely travel to a concert here again.

Great location downtown Oshawa. Not to big, but big enough. Really enjoy going to hockey games here. Great for a concert.

Check out our in-house restaurant - Prospects Bar & Grill. Open 2 hours before the concert. Highly recommending calling in advance to make reservations.
