This is a great place to walk and relax. The Park goes from the west side of Sixteen Mile Creek and joins with Water Works Park. On a weekday there was adequate parking at both ends. Not sure about weekends. There are plenty of benches to rest on. there is a public beach near the east end. Both parks are well maintained. And we saw people picking up garbage that wasn’t theirs.
The bird gardens are a nice touch. There are signs indicating what birds should be there and a bit of information about them. We didn’t see many birds, but it was midday and very hot and humid. They were probably sensibly in shelter.
Lake Ontario was unusually calm. There were many sailboats out, but they must have been struggling to catch a breeze.
