The tour is informative any time, but Christmas time is even special, with the period Christmas decoration. Sit in the decorated Veranda/tearoom and have a sip of hot apple cider with view of the beautiful Garden....

From 1800s. Very interesting. Very historic. Many interesting details. Surrounded by parks and bike trails and ideal for a picnic.

Nice stop along the trail. Interesting house tour. Intended to see the Laura Secord house and the Printery as well - all on the Parks plus pass but we were there in the second week of October and things shut down quite abruptly.

Well - I have to admit I just 'previewed' some of the previous responses - and, please ignore the negative ones, b/c I have no idea if they were at the same location. That being said, today was a lovely day, my husband & I...More

The house is one of the oldest in the area and has a great story attached to it. Tours are every hour but check to make sure it is open as the hours stated do not seem to correspond to what actually happens. The house...More

We picked up a brochure which did not provide hours. However, we assumed that the house would be open on a weekday during the week. Wrong! They are only open on weekends (at least in September). Their very nice brochure should let one know this.

This is a lovely old house, apparently the oldest in Niagra-on-the-Lake. We stopped in and visited on our way down the Niagra Parkway. Their menu has a page of information about the house, and there is one room that you can view through a glass...More

Dropped in for tea, sandwiches and dessert. Moderately expensive for lunch but the food, setting and service were excellent. Highly recommended for 4 to share and the tea selection is great.

We bought our tickets and we were encouraged to write our license plate, so that we wouldn't be fined. We had to wait about twenty minutes before the tour would start. Tours are every hour. We had a nice guide who was quite knowledgeable and...More

I'm not sure when it opens, but we went at 12:15. They start the tours once an hour at a quarter after the hour. So I would come near when the tour starts. The tea room was also open them as well.
