Pillitteri Estates Winery proudly continues a family tradition of...

Pillitteri Estates Winery proudly continues a family tradition of viticulture and winemaking excellence. For Gary Pillitteri, the opening of Pillitteri Estates Winery in June of 1993 was the culmination of a lifetime dream. Today the Pillitteri family continues his dream and tradition of quality, having received over 600 wine awards from around the world. The family’s winemaking philosophy is quite simple: “To produce the finest wines possible from the highest quality Niagara Peninsula grapes.” The strategy, however, is much more complex. Each vineyard and wine is treated individually since each has its own ‘personality’ that must be expressed. “Our goal is to produce consistent, quality wine for our consumers: rich, full-bodied reds; fragrant and lively whites; and luscious Icewines, all in a variety of styles to suit every palate.”

Had a pleasant visit. OK woes but nothing really stood out. Friendly staff but definitely less knowledgeable than other wineries

We stopped here as part of our Niagara falls tour from Toronto and it was ok, a bit tourist trappey but not over the top, although I imagine it would be hellish in high season. The shop was limited, the wine tatsting was quick but ok, you pay extra for ice wine but only drink this if you like really... More

This little winery is a must see for the budget minded traveler! The wine tour is free and you get free wine samples along the way. The tour is excellent historical perspective of the Pillitteri family and the NOL area. The ice wine is spectacular! You must go!

This is my favorite winery at Niagara-on-the-Lake! There is an excellent knowledge base as well as a beautiful family history here!

Upon the outside of Pillitteri, it almost feels like it's a strip plaza or a farmers market. However, inside it's a whole different story. Although they do offer some jams, hot sauces, and other wine-made items on the right end of the winery, the left side is where the tasting is at. It's kind of a no-frills place. It's not... More

I visited Pilliterri estate Winery today as part of the once a year in November Taste this season event. The event was being held in a different area this year - and enclosed porch area off to the side of the building. It was fortunately enclosed with plexiglass so it was bright and there was a heater inside which helped... More

Great looking place. You walk through the door to all their awards they have won. Tasting rooms on both sides I believe though I only went to the left. Good wine. Found the person helping me a tad rude but otherwise a good winery.

What good about this Wine Tour is even though there is a lot of tourist touring this Winery, we had given a private tour, the guide who given us the knowledge about their wines is very interesting. He gave us knowledge how a wine harvested, how they make them and a bonus how an grave vine can survive on a... More
