Friends and I visited jackson-triggs today as part of a once a year in November event called taste the season. You purchase a passport and then you go around to over 20 local wineries for a featured sampling of wine and food pairing. Jackson Triggs had a nice little garden outside, and we were greeted upon arrival. The wine was... More

A wine tour must with samples and a historical perspective of Niagara area history. Touring through the winery with up close interaction with the makers of wine. Deep in the cellar with the wine barrels tops off your tour. The $5.00 off your wine purchase makes it all worth it! Great experience

We had a great time at Jackson-Triggs Winery doing a combination or a wine cellar dinner and concert with another couple. This is a great combo to do and the setting for the venue is excellent. I would rate the cellar dinner as above average with some nice wine parings with each course. The cellar setting was nice but not... More

We went Jackson-Triggs on our honeymoon and wanted to go back. We made it in the door, but that is about it. We wanted to sample some wines and maybe take some more home with us, however, after waiting nearly 20 minutes, we could not get close to the bar and it was wall to wall people. When we went... This is a great place to start a wine tour. Large but unpretentious. Scott our guide did a great job of explaining the entire wine making process and how to look, swirl, and taste. He had a great sense of humor. It set the stage for the rest of the day. Learned all about ICE wine! Yum! Highly recommend.

The tasting room is always a bit crowded and getting to the bar for a wine tasting may take a little time but well worth the wait. The Pinot Noir and the Merlot are our favorites - year after year.

Got there party of two and weren't even acknowledged. Went into the shop and couldn't get the attention of the person in there, she walked off. There was a sign on the cashier saying till was closed. Walked around a bit hoping for a tour or some information and was very disappointed in the experience and lack of service and... More

The tour was slightly different, the tour guide had a heavy accent the method of changing the grapes to wine was new to me. I much prefer the old world method but was intrigued by the manufacturing method Jackson-Triggs uses. The wines we tasted what I was looking for - glad I went and now have a better understanding of... More

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon we wanted to see this winery as it is one of the largest and most well known. There were only two staff working at the wine tasting counter and they did not seem too interested in helping everyone. Tastes were only $1 so it is reasonable but we couldn't get any service and left.
