Small and simple but it marks the spot where the US Forces tried to invade Canada during the War of 1812. Some flags and a monument mark the spot along the Niagara River. Lots of parking.

Being a history nut for many years now the various other revuews caught the theme and feeling of this historic park. It is one of many locations in the Nisagara Region dedicated to the War of 1812. Younwon't be sisappointed with the time you send here reliving a piece of Canadian history!

Small park along Niagara Parkway with flags, a monument and several illustrated panels whereby you can follow the events on the battlefield. Worth the short stop.

There were so many lives lost on this battle field during the War of 1812. Nice park where you can take a self guided tour reading the displays about the historical aspects of the battle.

Take a drive down the scenic Niagara Parkway to visit this quiet monument to a key battle of the War of 1812. There are no fortifications, structures, or artifacts to view, but you can take a nice short walk and read the interpretive panels to understand how the battle played out.
It's very peaceful and quiet, a nice reminder of the sacrifices made long ago. History fans will appreciate that the land was preserved, while others will enjoy the tranquil setting.

I am a history buff so this was a nice site to see during a day trip that involved sites from the war of 1812-14. I am glad I seen this site. Nice monument.

I love stopping by this unique monument. It is unnerving to realize that so many years ago a significant war was waged at this spot that changed the face of history. The grounds are naturally kept and the expansive area and location to the Niagara River really give a sense of the danger and bravery that occurred as young as well as more experienced soldiers fought alike on common ground.
