About
Soar the Great Gorge, high above the racing Niagara River. You'll be transported through the air in an antique cable car, while far below the torrent of water abruptly changes direction and creates one of the world’s most mesmerizing natural phenomena – the Niagara Whirlpool. Amazing ride , Hello US
The ride is wonderful, usually there is that may take an hour but it moves since each ride around 15 person join. The scene is amazing, especially looking at the US side and the counterclockwise swirl of the river at Canada side. Practically starts and finishes at canada territory, except few meters pat of the river during the ride.the system is new, based on old system used to work long time ago.

    Nice scenic trip
The cable car takes you on a short ride across the River gorge a few minutes from Niagara Falls. It offers a scenic view of the river and whirlpool below. We used the WeGo green bus to visit it, the whitewater walk, the floral clock and the butterfly observatory.

Impressive views and long lines to get into the ride
Views from the ride are impressive. However, we stood in line for 2 hours to take the 20 minute ride. Even though we had a confirmed time on the reservation. Not worth the wait or the ride. We choose to go here as it was included in Niagara falls pass.

    Beautiful Views
This was a fun ride, you can see so much more in this areo car than just from the lookout point. The morning I was there there were several vultures circling around, no doubt some poor creature below was about to expire they were waiting for. The swirling whirlpool, the churning green water, just lovely. Be warned this areo car is a fairly snug fit, there is not lots of room to move around once you are on it. The stairs going down to it and then back up to the main level afterwards are not fun. It's a shame they hadn't a platform or elevator to get to the car.

    Wonderful Experience
Hanging over the raging whirlpools, watching boats in the water and people along the beaches below, is a wonderful experience. Tickets are timed. There is a nice gift shop with bathrooms while you're waiting for your turn to queue up.

    Great view of the whirlpool!
Fun little trip across. Wish we were out there longer. It's great that they rotate all the people around the car so you can see the rapids on one side and the whirlpool on the otherside. If you afraid of water or heights this is not for you. Go early and reserve your tickets ahead of time!

    Beautiful views! Not scary.
My husband and I went on the Aero Car after the wet Jet Boats. It was fun to see the landscape and whirlpool from above after being in the water. The car is secure, stable and was not scary for me. I am a little afraid of heights and don't do zip lines or anything like that. This was fine for me. It felt sturdy for sure. As you enter the car on one side, you stand along each side and have railings on both sides of you. The interior of the car is up a step and has its own railing. Don't worry about which side you start on because at the other side, everyone walks clockwise until you are all on the opposite side from where you started. You get to see both sides. It was not long but a fun little trip to see the beauty of the area! There is a small gift shop and bathrooms. The gift shop has some snacks, popcorn, and of course lots of gifts. The Green line bus stops at the Aero Car so it is easy to get to even if you don't have a car (or don't want to drive ).

    Not that exciting
This was definitely underwhelming. People recommended this. It's a little pricey for the 10 minute ride. Literally like 10 minutes. You get in the car, it goes over the river and back... they guide had a little speech but otherwise, we felt this was an activity we could have skipped. Beautiful view. We spent more time in the gift shop.

    Nice View without a passport
The views were great and it checked an experience off the list. Visiting first thing in the morning and the week prior to the long weekend led to the ride not being very busy. The ride is fairly short but the Operator provides facts as you cross and then re-cross the border. Pro tip - drive to the aero car, experience the aero car and then leave your car there for the day (free parking) to ride the WEGO bus to other attractions (excellent transit system)

Best view of the Niagara River Gorge rapids.
On September 11, 2023, arrived at 9 AM when the three mature Women in their 40's informed us that the Aero ride and Shops opened at 10 AM. They were very polite, courteous and compassionate. We noted that the pretzel and snack shop venue was closed for the season.

We got tickets as part of the Niagara Falls Pass. We enjoyed the ride. The weather was perfect with no wind. The view of the whirlpool from above was worth it. The car is stable, the narration was nice to explain when we were crossing the internationaI borders and to point out the two landing sites for helicopters to rescue people who dare swim in the river (with a $10000 fine). When the car reaches the other side everyone walks clockwise to the opposite side of the car. We rode in the middle and just had to turn around. I am afraid of heights so rode in the middle of the car. I had no problems completing the trip. We also saw people sitting by the river on the American side, which we found out was reachable down a staircase at Whirlpool State Park. Overall, I would recommend this attraction.

What a beautiful view of the whirlpool area of Niagara Falls. I’ve never been on this or any other cable car before so I was very apprehensive about riding it. It was amazing! It’s not a very long ride but it’s smooth and a great view of the whirlpool and rapids.

This is part of the many things to do with the Niagara Parks Pass. Hence it is included with the ticket and is one the many great things to do in addition to the falls. Great experience.

The Niagara Park Pass makes it cost effective, is so well organised, makes it the best way to see all of the sights on the Canadian side. Which of course is the better side to view the falls.

Ride on an open cart across the river and over the whirlpool. It is a very quick ride and not a whole lot to see. Purchase the Niagara Falls Pass that includes this event to make it worth the $$.

We visited 26/05/2023.

This was a fun experience. Suspended over the Niagara Falls in a Whirlpool Aero Car. Seeing the strength and power of the water from above is interesting.
You start on one side of the car, and then at the halfway point you switch to the other side. Most people on our car didn't seem to understand the concept of walking to see the other side, but staff do tell you. They are also super informative about the falls.

Buy tickets in advance, and be prepared to wait in a queue to get on - especially on busy days. We waited about 20 minutes on a weekday. You get great views though to worth it.

Metered parking by the Aerocar is free for people viewing the site.

The Aerocar experience: traveling over rough water via a cable car (from one part of the Canadian side of the river to another part of the Canadian side of the river) is OK but not amazing. The views of the turbulent water at White Water Walk are more exciting.

We were there in late October and the leaf colors were terrific. The Aerocar provided a great overview and photo opps of the colorful leafy scenery. I would recommend doing the Aerocar at this time of year - but would classify it as miss-able at other times of the year.

Stumbled on this attraction, while riding the WEGO to explore. It is a historic ride over the whirlpools, in a curve of the river. Great perspective of the Ontario river and countryside. Highly recommend it.

I rode the Aero Car because it was part of the Niagara Parks pass we got. It was a neat going out over the whirlpool, but not an absolutely essential visit. I wouldn't pay for it on its own. Stay away if you are uncomfortable with heights.

The Whirlpool Aero Car ride is just 5 minutes but you will be rewarded with gorgeous views on a sunny day. You could also see USA right across.

Fun for family with kids. After disembarking from the Aero Car, do stay behind to take some pictures before entering the gift shop.

On WEGO green line.

Unique experience over the river. Learning about the area from a different perspective was nice. Lots of opportunities for pictures. The only way to access the ride (that I saw) is down a lot of stairs, and it's a steep climb back up.
