Good old fun

It's definitely worth a stop in. No matter how much you know it's fake, there's at least 1 or 2 spots where they get you good and you jump.

We stopped by Nightmares on a Sunday night. Both my son (8 years old) and I love haunted houses and have been to several over the years. Nightmares claims to be the scariest haunted house in the Falls, so we were both looking forward to it. Unfortunately when we got there we interrupted the guy at the front who was... More

Lets start by saying I was way to cocky before entering the nightmares fear factory. I thought for sure I would make it through with no trouble what-so-ever. Needless to say, theres a reason this chicken out list is so extensive. It is bloody terrifying! I ended up making it to the end thanks to my partner. But I dont... More

Hahaha....well this was part of a package for the rest of Ripley's. I am an avid horror fan and when I say fan, I mean total horror freak..the scarier the better. Hmmm, ok first impressions...I have to admit I was a little apprehensive due to the fact I was on my own. The staff were really good and didn't try... More

We wanted to be scared, so... we picked the extreme fright fear factory. They did a good job. This is avery dark attraction, and manovering around is a bit of a problem.

This place is creepy and only gets more scary with every step you take. It has different elements like darkness and small spaces to get a fright out of everybody. One person in our party was scared, we used her name and told her not to be scared. Throughout the rest of the house voices were whispering her name and... More

My fiancé and I found this attraction to be very lacking. It was not very intimidating and staff would allow to many people through at the same time. This lead to all the "scary" parts to be revealed prior to us being anywhere near them. Perhaps geared toward the younger folks, as they may fine it a little more nightmarish.

Saw this advertised as a tourist attraction at Niagara Falls and with the statistics if people chickening out of the tour we just had to do it!! No queues on the day we visited and even just walking in I was apprehensive but it wasn't getting the better of me. You are told to wait for the green light to... More

My nephew and I both loved this place! Very scary for sure, very dark and have to walk carefully! But it was worth it and I can't believe people are leaving bad reviews but it's like anything else, always has to have some bad reviews! We went to 3 haunted house and this one was the best in terms of... More

My wife and I visited the Fear Factory during our trip to Niagara. We don't normally go for this sort of thing (bit gimmicky) but I was recommended it by a friend (who I'd say also wouldn't go for this sort of thing!). We weren't disappointed. In fact I thoroughly enjoyed it. Being subjected to near total darkness and have... More
