Our recent visit to London was to attend the 30th annual Sunfest music festival in Victoria Park. This was perhaps our 8th time there, dating back to 2003. The park is right in the heart of downtown London, with many restaurants located within walking distance. There are some historical war monuments scattered throughout the park. And a bandshell. Numerous large-scale events take place here throughout the year. Our experience with Sunfest is that the whole park is pretty much used for this free world music festival. The cement paths are lined with vendors selling food and drink of all types, and the widest array of goods and services. ATMs available since many vendors accept cash only. The bandshell is the main Sunfest stage with an additional 3 or 4 smaller stages set up around the park. Lots of grass available to picnic, relax, and listen to music.

Very well maintained park. The public washrooms are immaculately clean and supervised. There are a lot of homeless people around so they keep the park well supervised and under control. Nice little haven in the downtown core

Located in the very center of London, Victoria Park is truly a park for all seasons!
At this time of year, there is free ice skating. It is lit up for the Christmas season and there is a New Years Eve celebration! A fun venue for the children and there are lots of places close by to pick up a drink or a snack.

Concerts and festivals abound in the summer months bringing tourists from far and wide

Visited this park evening of Dec 16…extremely windy night. Lights were nice, thou only 75,000 lights so many of the trees were not lit up…just the main larger ones. They had Santa in a small house glassed off for kids to visit. There is a central skating rink which was not very well lit thus potentially dangerous. Overall would recommend for an evening stroll.

I highly suggest a stretch or taking a picnic to Victoria park. It right across from the lovely pub Jacks which has the best wings on Thursdays.

We live near Victoria Park and we love walking their with our puppy. Except you have to dodge the "geese poo" who reside in the park. But the place is for families, picnics etc. Love it.

Often when I walk there with my family, I feel unintimidated by garbage, some loud people etc. Not always a safe place to be

I love Victoria Park as it is the heartbeat of London. You can picnic or just stroll, great concerts, close to Richmond Row and Downtown plus hotels and shopping.

Nice park just to go for a walk through. Lots of squirrels to see and chase if you have kids! Very well kept and neat.
