Great for nature lovers and the dog liked it too!

Found this little gem the other day and spent a good hour walking the dog and taking in the sights. Lovely place for some quiet time. Great selection of birds in the area too.

Had the experience of visiting this hidden hideaway just recently. Full of wildlife, (snakes included) fall colours, fallen leaves, and beautiful scenery. Would recommend for outdoor enthusiasts!

My daughter had a field trip here. It was a great place to learn about water and how we use it. They have amazing trails that you can walk and the views are beautiful. Is an amazing place in the city to go and reconnect with nature

I've lived in London for nearly 20 years now and I'm still shocked to hear lifelong Londoners say they have never been to the Ponds, or don't know where it is. This is truly a gem right in the heart of the city that should be explored by everyone. When you walk the trails into the Ponds, it is shocking... More

Westminster Ponds is literally a slice of paradise in the heart of the City, with its three ponds and several walking trails, one can spend hours there. Living in London and nearby Westminster Ponds we go there frequently for a walk through the woods or to simply sit and look out over the ponds. There are some spots in the... More

For new comers, it's best to stop at the Tourist Bureau on the east side of Wellington Street (just north of Southdale Road next to the firehall). You'll be able to get trail guides there, as there are numerous trails throughout the park. One of the trail entrances is right behind the Tourist Bureau. The trails are fairly easy to... More

It's a very interesting place. A green spot in the city. You can take different trails through the woods and also around the beautiful ponds. There is a lot of colorful flowers, birds. It's a very quiet place. It's a great place for taking nice pictures of the nature. I recommend it. RomanP

This is actually an attractive site given the well worn trails and the numerous alternative trails that can be followed - it would be especially interesting with fall colours. The site has one major shortcoming: the lack of directional signage. On my last visit, I had 3 people who were completely lost and could not determine the right path to... More

Well marked and maintained paths circumnavigate the ponds. There is a parking lot near Tourism London on Wellington Street and a good place to start a walk through the woods. They are especially beautiful in the fall when the maples turn a riot of colour. Generally easy hiking some sections can get quite muddy after a rain. The pond always... More

You'd never even know this is here from driving by. But just off busy Wellington St. is a lovely nature walk in around this set of ponds. There are plenty of interpretive signs and the walks vary from amibitious to leisurely. The path is well marked and level.
