My son, grandson and I visited this park. We enjoyed the visitor centre and the trolley out to the Point. We stayed on the east side which was recommended and managed to get our photos in before I was swarmed by stable flies and man do they bite! Fortunately they don't leave hives or marks but it is uncomfortable when... More

We ventured to Point Pelee on two separate days while on vacation near Leamington. The first time was a beach and see the tip day. The afternoon was spent at the Black Willow beach. It has beach of small stones and course sand untill you are about 30 feet into the water, then its soft sand. The stones are weathered... More

Was very excited to revisit thee amazing beaches I went to as a kid only to find out $30 & a 2hr drive later that we couldn't enjoy any of it due to the vampire flies :( guess I'll just cling on to my childhood memories of the place...front gate should be a tad bit more specific on how "bad"... Point Pelee National Park is a great day trip for singles, couples & families alike. You get breathtaking views of Lake Erie, as well as a diverse ecosystem of flora & fauna. Highly recommend the boardwalk over the marshes. Make sure to spent time at the visitor center & watch the animal demonstrations. There are a couple of hiking trails... More

Great day spent at the Point... Although the Point seems so much smaller than when I was a kid! The visitors centre was interesting and the shuttle bus was fun for the kids. Missed checking out the Marsh area

Hot and humid in the park, like a rain forest! Dip your feet in Lake Erie to cool off! Take the 1km marsh Boardwalk! Bring your bike and watch out for spider webs! Pay at entrance to park, gets you access for day.

We visited the park on Canada day. Great park full of natural beauty. You can spend a full day with family here. Great beaches, trails, boardwalks and picnic spots. A must see.

Was able to purchase the discovery pass which offers unlimited entry for all national parks across Canada. The lady at the entrance was very informative and directed us to the information centre which provided us with fun activities which the children thoroughly enjoyed . I found the staff to be very knowledgeable, helpful and were able to interact very well... More

It's a beautiful park, a must-visit for everyone. There are beaches and picnic areas and a boardwalk among marshes.
