The Wolfe Islander offers scenic views of the Kingston waterfront with plenty of photo opportunities. My girls love riding the ferry on a hot summer afternoon and getting an ice cream cone on Wolfe Island.

This ferry is well run, and I have never witnessed a more efficient team and crossing. Bonus points: On the way back over to the mainland, we were in a long line of cars that snaked down the road, on the shoulder. As the line started moving, some jerk decided he was going to drive farther up the line and... More

This island is a gateway to the USA and worth a visit. Worth hiring a bike to get around. Lots of wild life to see. A very peaceful place.

This is a free ferry that takes you over to Wolfe Island. It is fun trip to take in the summer either by car, bike or walk. The island is very laid back and not very busy. The roads are flat and good to ride on.

If you are just going for the ferry ride and do not intend to explore Wolfe Island, then leave your car in the parking lot next to the Ferry lineup, this way you can do the round trip in just over an hour. The ferry ride gives you a chance to experience the 1000 Islands and see Kingston's skyline from... More

Want to visit Wolfe Island? Want to have a nice 20 minutes ride on lake Ontario? Take the Wolfe Islander III. In Summer, you can cross over to the USA and/or have a good meal at the Wolfe Island grill in Marysville. Go for a swim, have fun at the beautiful Sandy beach!
