For the last 2 Christmasses, I've been attending Mass at this very beautiful Gothic Cathedral! It is very heavenly, the music, the singing, the chanting, the homily!

Great building, history, & beautiful. After the renovations it could only be better. The artwork is lovely but the stain glass windows make it unforgettable.

I have been inside this cathedral several times; for example a son's Catholic highschool graduation and a mass for a funeral. This church is stunning outside and in. There are the stained glass windows, the sheer height of the magnificent ceiling and gorgeous acoustics. When the choir sings, the sound of their gorgeous voices is SIMPLY STUNNING as it echoes... A lot of rich history here plus a library for your benefit is on site as well as other information centers (but you should ask where to go rather than wonder). The cathedral is beautiful inside and out. Its currently under renovation (Sept. 14th/ 2016) i dont know when they will be done. Beautiful place for a ceremony of any... More

Seeking a refuge for some quiet contemplation, I was surprised to find all the entry doors locked during the middle of the day. The surrounding grounds are peaceful. Traffic patterns around the Cathedral are a bit tricky - if you are going west on King, make sure you get off at Breadalbane (the first street on your right after Dundurn)... More

I visited the cathedral with my son (18 months old) and husband. It was a gorgeous cathedral and worth seeing but if you see the father be warned he is very unwelcoming and rude! I'm catholic and have visited many churches both is Canada and USA and have never felt bad after leaving, this time was different. So unpleasant!
