This was interesting for the kids , but in reality you can do pretty much everything in under an hour unless you really sit there and read every single little thing. Taking pictures with a dslr is also tricky, the place is very humid and tends to fog up your lense real quick. -tip Around 15 to get in and... More

We stopped here over the March Break and it is as lovely as ever! We were married here four years ago and the place is still a great attraction for families. They were having Bug Feast this week along with educational sections for children and adults. The conservatory is so lovely - warm and tropical with butterflies by the dozen.... More

Was there a year ago and decided to take out an annual pass. Have been there a number of times since. Definitely require a camera for when butterflies land on whomever you are with. Not just butterflies but tropical vegetation, and a few birds, hens, and knowledgeable staff. Prior to entering the butterfly sanctuary there is an interesting insect and moth/butterfly exhibit.... Decided to visit on a cold snowy day as we needed to find something to do to get out of the house. It just kind of makes you forget what is happening outside when you step in. Very peaceful watching the butterflies flying around, lounging on plants and eating at feeding stations. It won't take very long to see the... More

While very busy on family day it was nice to be able to interact with the bugs if you wanted to. When you get into the conservatory there are lots of butterflies to see, there are birds and turtles as well. It's nice to see the display that you can watch the butterflies hatch, dry and then fly away

I have been taking my twins to the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory for many years. We visit once or twice per year. We never get bored of it! It's a great way to spend a morning or afternoon with your children. I recommend you plan on staying around 2hrs. There is an onsite cafe for lunch/snacks as well. Washrooms are clean... More

I take the kids here annually around February. It's a nice break from the winters for anyone who has winter blues. My only complaint is that it is simply not big enough. Other than that it's absolutely amazing and relaxing. Everything seemed well keeped from the fish to the nursery. The staff are very friendly and informative. The kids really... More

My wife and I had a great time there on the weekend. We enjoyed seeing the many types of butterflies flying around and enjoyed the chrysalis area. In addition to the butterflies, the quaids were fun to watch run around. We even got to see some babies in a nest which was cute!
