Find that on the weekend in the summer this is a well subscribed place. It is a good place for a run as the views are varied and there are others around to help motivate.

An amazing place to check out for all ages. Nice place to take a walk and it boasts one of the better waterfronts around. Great trail to experience as it is fairly long and the boardwalk is also a nice view of Lake Ontario.

The Burlington waterfront trail is the best part of Burlington We live in Burlington and spend a lot of time down by the lake in the summer. The trail goes from the downtown core all the way to Stoney creek so it is a perfect bike trail. The trail is right among the water meandering along beach views for miles... More

The waterfront trail offers free parking (if you are lucky! Most times I am:) there is a paved path for cycling, walking or running! I've even used a stroller :) Have a drink at Barangas or have a Poutine or fish and chips at Hutches! Spencers & the Bite are also an option in Burlington. A great path along the... More

often a place to bike, walk, take children to play in the sand at the beachfront and watch the big freighters go under the lift bridge.

We go here often, both as a couple, and also with our family. The trail goes all along the lakefront, it's so nice that Burlington's waterfront has public access. It's great for a bike ride, or for a nice long walk. There are lots of benches along the route. And a little beach area where you can swim.

So nice to walk along the water. Albeit a small boardwalk along one section, but you are right at the water. How fabulous is that!!

I ride my bike through the park and down the path to the lift bridge a couple of times each week. A stop along the way to visit the beach is always enjoyable where you might see the many different types of ducks and geese. The path is paved and very level so it is an easy biking or walking... We were visiting from the U.K. and staying in the waterfront hotel so had a nice view of part of the walk from the window in our room. It being a lovely sunny day we decided to walk from the hotel to the bridge and back. We did. The walk was flat. Views over the lake were nice but after... More
