We spent a day here with our family, with kids ranging in age 2 up to grandparents aged 70. There was something for everyone! Lazy rivers, water slides, wave pool and kiddie slides. We rented a VIP cabana for the day and, although a little pricey, it was nice to have somewhere to go out of the shade and meet... More

Always a must when the grand-children come to visit us in Ottawa. We spend the whole day from 10:30 to 19:00. The children never had enough. Had booked two cabanas so we had a peaceful area to relax.

After dropping off our 20 year old at Carleton University, we spent the day at the water park with our 12 year old son. We rented a Cabana, which made it convenient to leave our valuables, store our picnic lunch. It is expensive so consider it as a special treat if you decide to go this route. The cabana was... More

The riptide near the right wall is VERY strong ( it might be on the other wall too) and if you do not know how to get yourself out of a riptide or undertow, it could become deadly. I almost drowned on August 17th at 5:45pm!! I have not had a lot of experience in wavepools. I do know that... More

Went there on the last day of the season (Labour Day), and was VERY disappointed because the water was freezing in all the pools we went in. One of the kids came home still shaking and with a sore throat. Next day - first day of school he went to school with a cold. Now, second day of school he's... More

Thank you for your comment, we always appreciate customers feedback. The water in our pools is always kept between 80 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit. After checking our water logs on our last day of operation in September, we noticed that at one point during the day the water temperature was at 78 degrees for a short time. The average water... We went on a beautiful day. The water park was packed. I didn't find it all that like it was advertised on the Internet. Not impressed with the staff at the ticket booth. Asked about disability rate for our child assuming they would know the answer to that right away. She had to ask other staff around her. Kind of... More

First time ever going, made the 4 hour trip there, super smooth to get into the park, very friendly employees. Lockers are not super small, easy enough for two people to share. Very straight forward process to get the keys. Lines look long but they really don't take long, for a sunny hot day the longest we waited was 15... More

A good water park with plenty of choices for all ages. Areas of opportunity are better food choices. I also don't find it fair that there's a $10 parking fee given that the location of this park is not very central (30 minutes away from Ottawa and 90 minutes from Montreal).

Went on a weekend trip to Ottawa just to go to Calypso. Luckily, we picked a good day to go. The lines were not long and there wasn't as much people as we expected. We got to go on all the rides and it was amazing! There is quite a bit of walking up stairs so it may not be... More

We go to Calypso once a year and we are never disappointed. The grounds are always very clean including the grassy and landscaped areas which are just beautiful. For comparison, we went to Magic Mountain while on vacation in New Brunswick. Magic Mountain could not even hold a candle to Calypso water park. Management at calypso must be doing something...
