It will host concerts and the Tattoo (which is worth seeing) but as a smaller venue, it can be a cheaper way for visitors to Canada to get into something like a hockey game, where tickets will run for a tenth of the price as... Home of the Halifax Mooseheads (qmjhl) and Halifax Hurricanes (basketball). Not a bad seat in the house with lots of boxes. Limited bathrooms when there is 10000 fans present.

I'll never stop coming to the Metro Centre. It pains me that I even had to type Scotiabank's name when searching for the venue to do this review. This building has been magic my entire event-going life. This building gave me Nathan MacKinnon and Jonathan Drouin and Zach Fucale and Alex Tanguay and J.S. Giguere and countless others. And I... Attended a Hurricanes game with the kids. They just started basketball and the Hurricane events are well done with lots of kid friendly activities before the game. This facility has always been clean, lots of food and beverage vendors and nice staff. So why 2 stars? This was my first time there since the new sears went in and there... More

The Scotia Bank Center has gone through many changes and I have performed there in 1984 as a Star with Ice Capades....Yikes but it was amazing as was the staff, concierge, food courts and such. Lovely venue which went through a renovation in the last year. Awesome. It also hosts the International Nova Scotia Tattoo which in Canada we celebrate... More

in the heart of downtown Halifax. A wonderful venue within walking distance of hotels. There are numerous choices in downtown core of where to eat. Love the people and availability of many types of food venues open even during practice. Citadel Hill is literally at doorstep for photos on one side and on two other sides are historic buildings and... More
