Great museum that provides perspective of natural surroundings of Nova Scotia. I highly recommend visiting this museum first and then take part in a private tour of Halifax, and the Eastern Passage to be able to put the pieces together.

Small museum on 1 floor only but seems to cover most of the bases. Charge was $6.50 per adult and $4 for the car park for 2 hrs which was sufficient. Good geology area and the stuffed animals were in very realistic backgrounds. Try this...More

Not much more needs to be said. The displays are old, it was under construction and generally not worth the money

I like going here on occasion, especially when the exhibits change up! The differing displays are always educational, especially the animal ones, and personally I find the Oak Island exhibit interesting. Certainly have this on your to-do list!

Nice small museum, easily rolled around in under an hour. Good wheelchair access. Fun for young and old. Interesting to see they have an Oak Island display of things that have been dug up.

This is one of my favourite places to visit in all of Halifax. I have been back so many times. I am a bit of a science guy, so I enjoy checking out the exhibits. Each time I visit, there is something new added.
