The building itself is quite nice and located centrally in the downtown core. Grandeur of the olden days with some newer upgrades inside. Too bad the current government wasn't as nice as the building. If you have 30 minutes or more to spare, it is...More

We did not take an official tour - just wander around on our own. A very good display on the main floor with a timeline of the major events explained.

We took a private tour of Province House and the tour guide answered questions and took us through the building. The Legislative library was well worth a look. If you have several days in Halifax, I would recommend a visit.

We took the free guided tour of Province House and were glad that we did! It's fun to take tours of the different Legislative buildings, and compare them. The Province House is the oldest. We learned a lot about its history on the tour!
