Church was old with great architecture and there was a costumed docent who told you the history of the Roman Catholic Church. Donation box inside the front door. Great photo-op at the graveyard out back. Very close to the cruise dock in Sydney.

Moderately interesting church really only notable for its age. One of Canada's oldest. Admission by donation.

Originally built in the 1800, it is now re-utilized as a spartan museum. Remaining are some artifacts, a few posters regarding the history and culture of Sydney. A quick pass and onward to Jost house, the best museum.

Not much to see but worth the stop just across from the dock. The grave yard in the back of the church was interesting and very old. This is a Royal Church which means that any royal who visiting town should go to this church.

This is a royal church, which means that when a member of the royal family is in the area, this is where they worship. The church is very old, boasts a cemetery in the back, and very interesting artwork on the inside. Anyone in the area should stop by and spend about 5-10 minutes looking around. This is right across... More

Kind of a cool spot, but only takes a few minutes to get through so don't count on it taking a whole afternoon. They had a performer in today which I found very cape Breton :)

A bit photogenic. Undergoing restoration inside. Not really much to see if you are just a casual visitor.

We made a quick stop for this church and were happy we walked through. We learned about the people buried under the addition and got to walk through the upper and lower portions. They take donations for admittance at the door.

Not quite finished with their renovations but still worth the stop. Short walk from the cruise ship pier. A donation is suggested for admission.

Another great piece of history and make sure that you visit the grave yard behind the church as well.
