Absolutely worth the drive to Cape Breton. Beautiful scenery, great food and friendly people. 100% would recommend for anybody including all ages. Will be back many times in the future!!

Went to dingwall to a wedding October 21st left on the 22nd and the drive home was just a beautiful, fall leaf colors. The road and the Cabot Trail is quite winedy. I recommend that you do not drive at night because of the wildlife...More

This should be in the top 3 places to see in Canada. Breathtaking scenery and view. Lots of lookouts. Mountains, ocean and hills. Absolutely stunning nature spot.

Perfect time to visit, not so many tourists and the fall colors were beautiful. Lots of tourist spots were closed for the season, but we did find a few open

Anything comfortable - it sometimes gets chilly so you probably need some jackets and sweaters. However, I did pretty well in spring with just leggings and some long sleeved shirts + jackets. If you're looking to hike you... More

I would like to stay in Baddeck, a small cute town where Alexander Bell lived. Google it. I love it. Wish you have a fantastic trip in Canada's East Coast. Sorry about the late reply.
