What a beautiful place to visit and walk around! There is much dedication to keeping this place so very pretty. The little house with the thatched roof was a nice surprise with the veggie and herb garden behind it.

The admission fee (with tax) is ~$15 per person. It takes about 30 minutes to see the gardens which are ok, but definitely not worth the price. We thought that, for what you get to see and how big they are (again, not that big,...More

The gardens are beautiful and extensive, featuring plants, trees, wetlands and a wonderful historic thatched cottage. Staff are happy to discuss the plants and tips for gardeners. You won't be disappointed! This is a lovely place to visit!

Tickets to the gardens were included in our CAT Ferry package, but we would have visited regardless. Every little corner of this large garden is beautiful. The rose gardens alone are worth a visit. This is a very calm and mellow place to visit.

These gardens deserve the #1 rating, even though there is not much else to see in Annapolis Royal. That being said, these are first class, well-maintained gardens, that offer superb views over the marshes. The weather was cool, cloudy, and rainy during our visit in...More

Lovely gardens with many unique plants and trees. A bit pricey in comparison with some other 'gardens' we have visited, but a pleasant experience nonetheless. One should take their time and wander, not just the main gardens, but over the dyke-lands adjoining as well. Paths...More

What a wonderful way to spend 2-3 hours - enjoying the beautiful gardens and exploring the Acadian replica area. Rhododendron and azaleas were in full bloom during our visit. Perennials were really starting to start their show also.

We enjoyed strolling through the Royal Gardens. Our only regret was that we were here a few weeks before everything would be in bloom. Great care has been given to laying out the gardens, and they feature a wide variety of plants, trees and flowers....More
