This is one of the best places for Aurora Borealis viewing . Nice and picturesque tents, well organized, good facilities. A little bit more expensive than others, though, and you're required to pay extra money if want to extend your stay.

The Aurora Village was very big, organized and fitted with traveller friendly facilities like washrooms, chairs, special tent for the group and tour guides. The place was large, able to accomodate a lot of people. There were hot stove and beverages inside the tent. The guides came on working holiday from different parts of the world. All these made my... Personally I prefer small group tour therefore I would say the night with this company was average. Facilities were good with washroom.

We pre-booked the aurora viewing tour in September, and took the tour on the first day of our arrival in Yellowknife, October 1. It's not a clear day, but we saw clear aurora that night. We are so blessed. Tour package is easy to book on their website, with different language options. On time and easy pick-up and drop-off service.

A great place to watch the Aurora. Nice camp set up to take photographs with chairs to rest and wait for the light show. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Will come here again.

This is a remote spot which specializes in Aurora viewing...which is dependant on mother nature of course. Without the Aurora, it is a restaurant which specializes in local dishes served on a fixed menu. The Bison was very nice, well prepared and presented. In the lead up to supper the grounds were available to explore. Service was good.

My family and I joined the tour in mid august 2016 when the aurora season just started. We were a little worried at first since the aurora season has just started. We joined the tour the first night we arrived in Yellowknife- we arrived at the village at around 11 p.m. after a half an hour ride from the hotel.... More

Every body knows this a business and wants to make money. But they should be catering to the purpose people are going there to see aurora and enjoy. The steps in the bus are too high and it is very difficult for older customer to get in and out of the bus. Most of the employees are very nice and friendly... More

While the Aurora is a magnificent spectacle, the dinner / Aurora Village doesn't rate. Their website is vague, the staff are nice and the dinner very good but not value for money. In addition, I have been extremely disappointed in that for personal reasons I had to cancel a 2nd nights viewing. While I was able to give them over... More

We went there three nights and were able see aurora on all nights. The bus arrived on time at the hotel on two of the nights but was around 10 minutes late for the third. We were brought to our teepee, which had a wood fire to keep us warm, with complimentary drinks. Our guide for all three nights were... More
